Chief Maintenance Engineer (Hotel)

The Hilton Garden Inn Uniontown is looking for a Chief Maintenance Engineer to lead our maintenance efforts.  This is a wonderful opportunity to work in one of Uniontown's finest locations.

The Chief Engineer will lead the management and direction of the Maintenance operations in accordance with safety and brand standards, while working within budget limitations to provide a quality product for guests and team members.

Who we are:

The Hilton Garden Inn Uniontown is a busy hotel, proudly serving visitors to Uniontown for almost 10 years.  We have a restaurant, bar, and banquet space to serve guests and group needs.  The hotel is managed by Prospera Hospitality, a proud Pittsburgh based hotel management company with over 20 years of experience managing hotels, restaurants, and convention centers.

What you'll do:

 This position will play a key role in overseeing, coordinating, and assisting the activities of the maintenance team.

• Ensure repair, maintenance, and engineering activities and the preventative maintenance program are completed as directed and support or monitor capital repair and renovation projects.
• Ensure all fire and safety inspections are completed and any discrepancies are corrected.
• Maintain exterior of building.
• Responsible for the safety of the department and building.
• Meet with vendors and suppliers to discuss the scope and materials of repair activities.
• Obtain pricing and bids or develop cost estimates.
• Supervise and assist engineering staff in maintaining and repairing fire and life safety systems, room equipment, HV AC, plumbing and electrical systems, kitchen appliances, refrigeration equipment, pool equipment, lighting, laundry equipment and other systems/ equipment.
• Monitor supplies and places orders with approved vendors as needed.

• This position will pay $60,000 per year with scheduled annual increases.

License/Certification:

• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) (Preferred)
