This position may be ideal for someone who is interested in working independently and is able to keep busy during the slowest parts of the day in the hotel.


  

What you'll do:
 

The primary duties of the Night Auditor are to assist guests with check-in & check-out processes, provide guests with hotel services information, and accommodate guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous, and friendly manner.  The Night Auditor will also close the day for our accounting and reservations teams and act as Manager on Duty for the hotel during the overnight hours.

  • Guest Check-in and out:
    Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to core values.  Perform duties as outlined in the Front Office Training Procedures. Check guests in and out of the hotel in a courteous and pleasant manner.  Use the appropriate phrases and greetings when interacting with guests. Provide information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions, and making reservations as needed.
  • Night Audit Duties:
    Act as point of contact for issues and emergency services, as needed. Complete end of day duties to support accounting and reservations.
  • Guest Services:
    Offer assistance to the individual needs and requests of all guests.  Ensure guest needs are responded to in a timely and efficient manner.  Maintain guest confidentiality at all times. Conduct self in a friendly and attentive manner during all guest encounters.
  • Guest Reservations:
    Use proper telephone and reservation etiquette including describing the hotel, proper rate quotation and capturing reservations.
  • Front Office Functions:
    Accurately manage cash drawer and credit card system. Operate phone system. Communicate pertinent shift information to the next shift and direct supervisor. Responsible for working in a safe and conscientious manner. 

What you'll receive:

  • This is a Part-Time position with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour.

Previous Hotel experience is preferred.

Previous Front Desk experiences is a plus.

Ability to use hotel Front Office computer systems is required.
