The Front Desk Supervisor is a hands-on leader that requires a strong knowledge of all aspects of the operation, ensuring complete guest satisfaction. Supports, directs and administers all areas of the Front Desk.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assists in interviews and hiring process for Front Office department associates.
  • Participates in training all Front Office associates.
  • Has complete understanding of all Front Office staff's job descriptions and duties and is able to perform duties at any given time.
  • Has full understanding of hotel reservations system and assists with reservations.
  • Checks AM and PM discrepancy reports.
  • Communicates with Housekeeping Department regarding guest rooms and requests.
  • Communicates with the Engineering Department regarding any maintenance requests from guests.
  • Promptly and professionally checks guests in and out of the hotel.
  • Knows how and where to post all charges.
  • Knows where to find all room rates and company codes.
  • Gives directions to hotel facilities, rooms and local area attractions.
  • Understands night audit procedures and is comfortable filling this position.
  • Follows safety and security procedures and rules.

 Previous Hilton and OnQ operating system experience is a PLUS.
