Housekeeping Room Attendant

The Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South, the only full-service hotel in the heart of the Pittsburgh South Hills, is looking for a Room Attendant to join our team in Housekeeping.  

The Room Attendant ensures cleanliness of our guest rooms and provides service to our guests throughout their stay.  Having an eye for cleanliness and the ability to produce quality work on your own are two qualities of an effective Room Attendant.

Essential responsibilities:

• Maintains a clean and well stocked cart at all times.
• Follows appropriate entry requirements for guestrooms. 
• Cleans the guest rooms assigned according to hotel and brand standards. 
• Properly utilizes cleaning agents that are supplied only by the hotel.
• Records room status on assignment sheet and codes by phone.  
• Reports any damage or hazards that are present in guest rooms, i.e., burned out light bulbs, broken furniture, working order of bathroom, etc.
• Ensures that guest rooms are secured at all times. 
• Keeps chute rooms and linen rooms neat and secured at all times.
• Follows the proper lost and found procedures. 

The Housekeeping Room Attendant position has a starting pay of $16.22.  The Crowne Plaza offers vacation time off as well as health insurance benefits to our employees.

Previous Housekeeping experience is a plus.
