Kevin Kilkeary is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Prospera Hospitality. He brings to the company more than 40 years of experience in the hotel and restaurant industries paired with a personal passion for the true meaning of hospitality: serving others.
A true industry veteran, Kevin started his career in 1972 working as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Interstate Hotels at their full-service Marriott in Pittsburgh. He moved into the role of General Manager, opening and managing hotels with IHC in Charlotte, N.C., Harrisburg, Penn., and Pittsburgh again before moving into IHC’s corporate office.
Kevin spent 15 years in the corporate office filling several leadership roles: Regional Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a portfolio of 250 hotels, President of Crossroads Hospitality (an internal company overseeing 100 select serve hotels) and finally as Chief Operating Officer for all of IHC. He helped manage several company mergers and took IHC public in 1996.
In 2002, eager to work hands-on with a nimble, passionate team, Kevin started Prospera Hospitality Services, a hotel management company that has ownership and operates hotels and restaurants in all categories. With Prospera, Kevin has also launched two sister companies to better serve clients, Westmoreland Payment Services and PHHS.
